    Job Title: Project Architect

    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the production of deliverable documents throughout various phases of a project, demonstrate strong technical leadership, and ensure the quality assurance of design documents. This role involves direct collaboration with clients and contractors, as well as mentorship of project staff. The Architect will play a key role in maintaining the original design intent of projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead the production of deliverable documents throughout the SD, DD, CD, and CA phases of a project.

    + Demonstrate strong technical leadership and document coordination.

    + Ensure the quality assurance of design documents.

    + Understand and apply building codes, zoning, and planning regulations.

    + Supervise and mentor project staff.

    + Work directly with clients and contractors during all phases of design and construction.

    + Facilitate coordination with the Project Designer and Project Manager to maintain the original design intent of the project.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Revit.

    + Experience in multi-family/mixed-use and large-scale commercial design.

    + Expertise in construction documentation and administration.

    + Strong collaboration skills.

    + Excellent organizational and communication skills.

    + Degree in Architecture.

    + Registered Architect.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficient in SketchUp and Adobe Suite programs.

    + Hardworking and devoted to the creation of dynamic, engaging designs.

    Work Environment

    Our office is located in the recently renovated Class A office space, offering a panoramic view of the city. We have 5 studios with 75 employees based in Baltimore, working on projects ranging from housing and senior living to commercial and international projects. Our collaborative environment allows architects to work with various studios depending on workload, providing diverse project experiences.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $50.00/hr.
