    We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to contribute to various projects, including access control systems, audiovisual systems, security systems, computer networks and cabling, distributed antenna systems, emergency communication systems, and fiber optic infrastructure. As a CAD Designer, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and design functional systems that meet project requirements.

    Responsibilities

    + Create detailed construction drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.

    + Design and develop systems for audiovisual, security, and computer network projects.

    + Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure constructability and code compliance of designs.

    + Support the electrical industrial layout work for construction projects in various industries such as food processing, schools, and hospitals.

    + Communicate effectively with customers and other design firms to ensure project specifications are met.

    + Manage one major project at a time while simultaneously assisting with smaller projects.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for systems design.

    + Experience with BIM software for construction drawings and blueprints.

    + Ability to understand and create construction schedules and electrical layouts.

    + 3+ years of communication design experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Strong understanding of audiovisual and security systems design.

    + Experience in designing computer networks and cabling systems.

    + Knowledge of distributed antenna systems and emergency communication solutions.

    + Familiarity with fiber optic technologies.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is dynamic and supportive, characterized by a strong team atmosphere. You will be part of a team of six Revit Technicians and one Manager, working closely to deliver quality designs. Initially, work will be based in Madison for the first six months, with a preference to transition to Pewaukee for long-term growth. The culture is family-owned, with a laid-back yet forward-thinking approach, promoting fun and collaboration. The dress code is business casual, consisting of dress pants and polos, and working hours are flexible during the 1st shift to ensure project deadlines are met.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $56.00/hr.
