    Job Title: CAD Drafter

    Job Description

    We are seeking a CAD Drafter with strong mechanical aptitude to join our Technical Excellence Center, supporting the replication of OEM components for brewery and plant equipment using 3D printing. This role is crucial for driving cost savings by replacing expensive OEM components with cost-effective 3D models, ultimately contributing to substantial financial savings.

    Responsibilities

    + Create 3D models of OEM components using AutoCAD for use in plants.

    + Collaborate closely with chief engineers and Zone Technical Experts to ensure product specifications are met.

    + Perform labeling, data management, and conduct final quality checks on components.

    + Identify gaps and potential cost savings in the production process.

    + Investigate and correct defects before components are sent to end users.

    + Manage a steady flow of 5-10 orders per day, ensuring quality and accuracy in replication.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solidworks.

    + Mechanical aptitude with experience in fabrication and machining.

    + Ability to perform quality checks and quality management system (QMS) tasks.

    + Experience with hand tools and measuring equipment such as calipers and gauges.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + A few years of experience as a drafter or CAD modeler.

    + Mechanical inclination and ability to demonstrate this on a resume.

    + Exposure to quality control and quality assurance practices.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment includes spending at least half of the day on your feet in the 3D printing room or working with replacement parts.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
