Currently hiring a Construction Inspector for NYC Water Infrastructure Projects!

Description

Construction Inspector will support the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities and infrastructure in NYC.

You will play a crucial role in informing the construction management team by observing and reporting on construction activities, effectively coordinating and collaborating with project team members, and providing thorough documentation and inspection for various water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

- Review drawings, specs and work plans

- Conduct on-site observation, monitoring, inspection and evaluation of construction

- Observe contractor performance

- Prepare daily reports, verify material quantities, time and material records

- Maintain project redline

- Coordinate with Construction Managers project teams and other teams

- Assist with project start-up

Qualifications

- Minimum of 6 years of construction/construction observation experience

- Familiar with civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering

- Willing to travel throughout NYC metro area

Schedule:

- 5 days a week

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
