Job Title: Junior Product Manager (Terminal and Hardware)Job Description
The Junior Product Manager will assist in the development, launch, and continuous improvement of hardware and terminal product lines. This role involves close collaboration with product development, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and exceed industry standards.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in managing the entire lifecycle of hardware and terminal products, from ideation and design through development, launch, and post-launch support.
+ Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor products, using insights to inform product roadmaps.
+ Collaborate with internal teams and customers to define and document product requirements, ensuring they are clearly communicated to the engineering and design teams.
+ Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely development, testing, and delivery of products.
+ Facilitate the development of prototypes, assist in product testing, and ensure hardware specifications are met for product designs.
+ Assist in the planning and execution of product launches, including creating marketing materials, coordinating with the sales team, and organizing customer support resources.
+ Monitor customer feedback and gather insights to inform ongoing product improvements, bug fixes, and feature updates for hardware and terminal products.
+ Collect and analyze data on product performance, user adoption, and customer satisfaction to drive product improvements and ensure market success.
+ Maintain accurate product documentation, including product specifications, user manuals, and release notes.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in product lifecycle management and product management.
+ Strong communication and analytical skills.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
+ 1-4 years of experience in product management or a related field, with experience in hardware or terminal products being a plus.
+ Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into user-friendly product features.
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
+ Familiarity with Agile product management methodologies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with product management tools such as Agile, Scrum, JIRA / Atlassian.
+ Experience with software and hardware development processes.
Work Environment
The work environment requires primarily sedentary physical work, with the ability to lift a maximum of 25 pounds. There may be occasional lifting and carrying of items such as a laptop and notebook. The role involves frequent walking and standing, along with hand/eye coordination to operate a computer keyboard and office equipment. Vision for reading, recording, and interpreting information is necessary, as well as speech communication and hearing to maintain communication with colleagues and management. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $38.00/hr.
