Job Title: Mechanical DrafterJob Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Drafter with over five years of drafting experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with mechanical engineers to design drawings and assist with project estimating. This role is responsible for developing detailed drawings and Bills of Materials, focusing on pipe, industrial, and structural design.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with mechanical engineers to design and create project drawings.
+ Assist in project estimating.
+ Develop detailed drawings and Bills of Materials.
+ Focus on pipe, industrial, and structural design.
+ Utilize AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor for drafting projects.
+ Employ Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication.
+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a detail-oriented approach.
+ Stay open to learning new products, concepts, and techniques.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor.
+ Experience with 3D modeling and design drafting.
+ Solid knowledge of industrial or structural manufacturing environments.
+ Detail-oriented work style.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2-year associate's degree in a technical field is preferred.
+ Experience with SolidWorks is advantageous.
Work Environment
The position involves working in an industrial or structural manufacturing environment, utilizing advanced technologies such as AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor. The role requires a professional approach to attire and demands a willingness to adapt to new techniques and concepts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
