    Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is looking for a Weekend Home Health Intake Coordinator in Overland Park!

     

    Our Home Health Intake Coordinator is responsible for staffing, scheduling and coordinating the care delivered by field staff over the weekend who are working in the homes of clients. This position offers the right candidate a challenging position with an opportunity for growth. Candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, & think on their feet in a fast paced, demanding, and rewarding position.

    Benefits

     

    + Hours Friday 5pm-9pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am-5pm

    + Pay range $16-$18/hr based on experience

    + 2 Weeks In Office Training, work from home after!

    Responsibilities

    + Processing and coordinating referrals for Home Health.

    + Work with and maintain open communications with our local operations team.

    + Troubleshooting problems and providing resolution

    + Highly Organized & Detail Oriented and Flexible.

    + Data Entry, insurance verifications.

    + Communication with operations staff

    + Other duties as set forth by supervisors.

    Requirements

    + Previous Medical staffing and scheduling, experience is a plus.

    + Must have a minimum basic knowledge of keyboarding, personal computers, and Microsoft Office (including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook).

    + Must be strong in customer service.

    + Must have a strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate well; both verbally and in writing.

    + Must be reliable, have a great attitude, and possess a strong work-ethic.

    + Must be detailed, accurate, organized and have the ability to multi-task.

    + Minimum one (1) year experience in general office setting.

    + Knowledge of medical terminology a definite plus!
