We are currently hiring a Mortgage Processing Specialist for one of the top Credit Unions in Colorado! This position includes a base pay rate and competitive commission structure.
Description
+ Assist in set-up of loans
+ Communicate and order 3rd party documentation such as title, flood, tax transcripts, appraisals, payoff information, insurance, condominium, and HOA docs, etc.
+ Verify vendor orders are complete and invoices received, and all are in the applicant’s file
+ Obtain and assemble complete loan package in proper order for underwriting
+ Verify all required documentation (pre-underwrite) is in the file
+ Complete required loan checklist with completed income calculation sheet in every file
+ Verify the loan file is complete and accurate. Verifies documentation submitted and identifies any potential issues that may arise in underwriting
+ Performs a thorough review and analysis of borrower’s credit and employment history
+ Ensure application has two (2) years verified employment that matches supporting documentation, income, and assets, and address large deposits before submitting the file to underwriting
+ Prepare a loan approval summary, run DU, and ensure the 1008 and the 1003 is accurate of all supporting information printed on said documents
+ Responsible to hand over a completely documented file to the underwriter, which is ready for approval or denial
+ Directly communicate with member in writing and by telephone to obtain initial and missing documentation required to fully approve the loan, including but not limited to: income information, asset information, credit authorization, trust agreements, purchase agreements, etc.
+ Schedule closings with member, title, and closing department
+ Review loans for compliance within RESPA, TRID, HMDA, Reg. B, etc. (all mortgage related regulations)
+ Prepare proper disclosures as required by regulations
+ Manage pipeline by reports within set SLA times
+ Meet production goals set by management
+ Manage an active monthly pipeline of 30 loans
+ Document all communication related to the loan application in the conversation log
Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
+ Minimum of 2 years recent Conventional processing experience
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing residential real estate lending
+ Thorough knowledge of loan processing procedures, credit policies, approval processes, loan documents knowledge, underwriting requirements per loan type, governmental and agency requirements, terminology, and automated processing systems knowledge
+ Recent and consistent experience with all GSE investors
+ Experience with mortgage origination systems and banking systems particularly relating to processing

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
