As a Chemical Operator you’ll be working to support the plant’s day-to-day operations. You’ll be supported by your team with possibilities to grow into a Manufacturing Professional and directly impact the quality of our products – helping to improve real lives.

Your key responsibilities

+ Work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and overtime.

+ Climb, bend, lift and perform a wide range of physical activities; including working at various heights including climbing various ladders and stairs to load containers, and work in various weather conditions.

+ Follow all plant safety guidelines and policies, which includes the wearing of fire retardant clothing and respirators (note: must be clean shaven at all times on the job and be able to pass PFT test).

+ Operating pumps, compressors, boilers, reactors, distillation columns and other plant equipment within safe operating ranges.

+ Making changes to the operating process as needed to maintain product quality. Adjusting control instruments, valves or switches in order to regulate pressure, temperature or flow rate of product; to direct flow of product to other units or to maintain specified levels in tanks and towers.

+ Operating control room instrumentation systems and coordinating activities with other departments.

You bring

+ High School diploma or equivalent or prior experience in a manufacturing environment

+ 1-year chemical manufacturing experience preferred

+ Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)

+ Ability to climb various ladders and stairs to operate valves, gauge tanks, or perform maintenance on equipment as a part of this position.

+ Ability to raise and transport articles weighing up to 55 pounds.

+ Will be exposed to hot and cold working conditions
