**Job Title** : Senior Observability Engineer

Job Summary
Define and implement end-to-end observability architecture across infrastructure, applications, APIs, and databases. Utilize tools like Dynatrace and Splunk to monitor AWS workloads, design custom dashboards, and automate observability processes.
Key Responsibilities
+ Define and implement end-to-end observability architecture spanning infrastructure, applications, APIs, and databases.
+ Utilize Dynatrace (OneAgent, ActiveGate, Davis AI) for monitoring and automated anomaly detection.
+ Use Splunk for ITSI, advanced SPL queries, dashboards, glass tables, KPIs, and predictive analytics.
+ Monitor AWS workloads (EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS) using Dynatrace.
+ Design and implement custom dashboards, alerts, and synthetic tests in Dynatrace.
+ Implement Observability-as-Code (OaC) using Dynatrace Terraform provider for automation.
+ Design and implement API Gateway observability (IBM APIC, MuleSoft, AWS API Gateway, Kong, NGINX).
+ Monitor database performance (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS) with relevant metrics.
+ Manage trace propagation across API calls, database transactions, and service interactions.
+ Utilize Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for automated observability resource provisioning.
+ Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for Dynatrace monitoring configurations.
+ Automate deployment of dashboards, alerting policies, and management zones.
+ Design and maintain observability pipelines for logs, metrics, and traces across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
+ Establish best practices for distributed tracing, golden signals, and SLO-driven monitoring.
Required Experience
+ 10+ years of experience in IT operations, SRE, or observability roles.
+ Hands-on experience with Dynatrace (OneAgent, ActiveGate, Davis AI).
+ Experience with Splunk, including ITSI, advanced SPL queries, dashboards, glass tables, KPIs, and predictive analytics.
+ Experience monitoring AWS workloads (EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS) using Dynatrace.
+ Proficiency in designing and implementing custom dashboards, alerts, and synthetic tests in Dynatrace.
+ Experience leveraging Dynatrace Davis AI for automated anomaly detection and root cause analysis.
+ Implemented Observability-as-Code (OaC) using Dynatrace Terraform provider.
+ Designed and implemented API Gateway observability (IBM APIC, MuleSoft, AWS API Gateway, Kong, NGINX).
+ Hands-on experience monitoring database performance (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS).
+ Experience with trace propagation across API calls, database transactions, and service interactions.
+ Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
+ Experience developing and maintaining reusable Terraform modules for Dynatrace monitoring configurations.
