Telephone Sales Agent

SUMMARY

The Telephone Sales Agent supports the In-Room Dining department and its staff by answering incoming calls and taking Guests orders/special requests. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Job duties include; although are not limited to:

+ Answering incoming calls, taking Guests orders/special requests with 100% accuracy

+ Charging out checks to rooms, credit cards, or cash

+ Assisting with e-mails, ordering supplies, updating menu and information binders, Guest amenity traces and set up, as well as data entry and filing

+ Assisting the Captains with table set-up and checking orders as they go out

+ Helping to keep the 24 hour TSA Office clean and organized

+ Charging out amenities, counting and filing the receipts

+ Closing out cash bank with 100% accuracy, paying out IRD servers daily and logging their cash tips in our daily and bi-weekly cash tip log

QUALIFICATIONS

+ High School Diploma or equivalent education required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

+ Previous food and beverage experience required

+ Previous hotel experience preferred

+ Ability to obtain/maintain government and/or state required licenses and certifications such as Food Handler's card

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must be physically able to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment as well as delicate china and glassware. Up to 50 lbs. Also, you must be physically able to walk without assistance on various surfaces for an extended period of time. This position requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.

The pay range for this role is $11.50 - $12.00 hourly. The pay scale is the base hourly range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Pendry reasonably expects to pay for the position.
