    This Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) role provides day-to-day financial support and analysis for Disney Experiences Technology and Digital (T&D), on the Project Finance team working closely with T&D project teams through strong partnering and creative analysis.  This role will play a pivotal role in driving financial consolidation efforts and leading finance transformation initiatives within the team. This role requires a strong understanding of financial processes, data visualization, and storytelling techniques to effectively communicate insights and drive decision-making. The SFA will also be responsible for managing the financial aspects of highly complex projects and monitoring project expenditures to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints, and proactively recommend actions to address any variances.

    What You Will Do:

    + Developing an understanding of the business and partnering with various members within the DX Technology organization and other Finance organizations, providing financial guidance and assistance as needed

    + Lead financial consolidation efforts within the Project Finance team, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data

    + Drive finance transformation initiatives to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and improve financial tracking

    + Utilize advanced tools and techniques to create compelling data visualizations that amplify key messages and insights

    + Develop and implement storytelling strategies to present financial data in a clear, engaging, and actionable manner

    + Prepare and present detailed financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders at all levels

    + Provide training and support to team members on data visualization and storytelling techniques

    + Support the completion of ad-hoc analysis

    + Ensure accuracy of all financial information received and shared for planning processes and financial analyses, and proactively identify issues (data or process) and ensure appropriate action is taken to resolve issues

    + Prepare journal entries for accruals, re-classes, and amortizations to ensure proper posting of financials

    + Clearly articulate project variances to forecast and outlines cause of change

    Basic Qualifications:

    + 2+ years of experience in financial analytics, accounting or related field

    + Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and continuous improvement, and project management with a strong attention to detail

    + Strong technical acumen with experience in Microsoft Excel, SAP, PowerPoint, Power BI, and other data visualization software

    + Ability to meet deadlines, effectively manage multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

    + Strong analytical and writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)

    + Ability to build strong and effective working relationships with team members, peers, partners/clients at all levels across the organization

    + Strong organization skills with attention to detail in handling multiple demands and balancing competing priorities

    + Self-starter, with natural curiosity, willingness to challenge the status quo

    + Professional team player with a positive “can do” attitude
