+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent theological degree or Master’s degree in Social Work with qualifications of experience clinical grief counseling required

Responsibilities

+ Coordinate the assessment and delivery of grief counseling needs and services to ensure timely and appropriate services are provided

+ Plan for Bereavement Program development, expansion and refinement through annual evaluation of services

+ Provide bereavement support to hospice personnel coping with work-related grief

+ Provide bereavement information and referral services to callers from the community

+ Participate in interdisciplinary group meetings

+ Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements

+ Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent theological degree or Master’s degree in Social Work with qualifications of experience clinical grief counseling

+ Understanding of grief response and experience with counseling individuals and/or groups in loss

+ Experience with death and dying

+ Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care

Salary Range

USD $27.00 - $29.00 / Hour
