    Position-Planning Producer/Fox 8 News in the Morning

     

    + The Planning Producer position is assigned to our top rated “Fox 8 News in the Morning” newscast.

    + The Planning Producer is responsible for all non-news segments within the six hour morning news. These can include, live guests, live musical performances, cooking segments, booking breaking newsmaker interviews.

    + In addition, the Planning Producer provides assistance and coordination for our “Kickin’ it with Kenny” segments.

    + The Planning Producer also coordinates and produces some of the stations community and charity endeavors including our annual St Jude Dream Home fundraiser.

    Additional duties may include;

    + filling in as a line producer

    + writing for newscasts,

    + running teleprompter

    + contributing to digital and social media platforms as well as other duties as assigned.

     

    Hourly compensation ranges from $35-$40
