    Job Description

    EPS Corporation is seeking a highly skilledNetwork Systems Design Support Managerto lead and manage network systems design and support activities. This role requires expertise in designing and maintaining secure network systems, including experience with firewalls, Unix/Linux systems, and HBSS (Host-Based Security Systems). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT operations, network design, and team leadership, with the ability to work in a high-security, mission-critical environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead the design and implementation of network systems and infrastructure solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.

    + Oversee the integration of firewalls, Unix/Linux systems, and HBSS into network design, ensuring compliance with security policies and industry standards.

    + Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of network engineers, ensuring best practices are followed and high-quality solutions are delivered.

    + Work with senior leadership and stakeholders to define network requirements, ensuring solutions align with organizational goals and security needs.

    + Manage day-to-day operations of network design and support activities, including troubleshooting, system monitoring, and incident response.

    + Develop and maintain network design documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration plans, and operational procedures.

    + Ensure network solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure while adhering to ITIL best practices for service management.

    + Perform regular assessments of network performance, security, and capacity, and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed.

    + Manage and support the deployment of network-related technologies and services across the enterprise.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Security Clearance: Must possess aTop Secretclearance withSCI eligibility.

    + Certifications:

    + VCTA (VMware Certified Technical Associate)

    + CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or Network+ Certification

    + ITIL Foundation Certification

    + Education:

    + B.S. in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering) OR

    + 7+ years of relevant IT experience.

    + Experience:

    + 5+ years of relevant experience in network systems design and support, or

    + 7+ years of relevant IT experience with a focus on network systems management.

    + Experience with firewall technologies, Unix/Linux operating systems, and HBSS.

    + Strong understanding of network security, system architecture, and network performance optimization.

    Additional Skills:

    + Proven experience in network system design, deployment, and support for enterprise-level infrastructure.

    + Hands-on experience with firewalls, Unix/Linux systems, and HBSS configuration and management.

    + Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide and mentor a team of engineers.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
