    **Job Purpose or Objective(s):** Generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. Integrates data from multiple sources within reporting platform to produce requested or required reports. Programs and maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, self-service reporting platform, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources. May create specifications for reports based on business requests.

    Primary Tasks:

    1. Implement the design and development of Power BI, Cognos and SQL Server Reporting Services reports.

    2. Develop and maintain data modules using Cognos Analytics.

    3. Gather, analyze, and translate needs into requirements for client solutions.

    4. Provides feedback throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) starting with requirements analysis and modeling through implementation, debugging, deployment and ongoing support.

    5. Track and maintain all development activities in designated tracking solutions.

    6. Prepare data models/modules for consumption by analysts and power users.

    7. Participate in initiatives to improve release quality, deployment and scalability of the solutions.

    8. Document solutions with a focus on explaining concepts to non-technical users.

    9. Drive deployment of releases into production and non-production environments.

    10. Other duties may be assigned by management.

    Requirements:

    + Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, computer science or related field required, and 3 years of equivalent experience.

    + 3 years of experience in reporting solution development principles, processes, concepts, and techniques

    + 3 years of hand-on experience in the following technologies: SQL, Python, IBM Cognos or Power BI

    + 3 years of experience with Python or R

    + Understanding of technical documentation covering SOPs, SLAs, and training materials

    + 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server database, SQL scripting, views, stored procedures, and functions

    + Good knowledge of the following tools: Microsoft Azure DevOps, Git or other Source control

    + 2 years of experience working in Agile and Scrum development methodology

    + Ability to proactively identify, communicate and mitigate risks and obstacles

    + 3 years of experience converting business requirements into report specifications and excellent knowledge of Data Warehouse architecture.
