    Description

    The HCBS Supervisor works under the direction of the Program Manager of HCBS. The HCBS Supervisor oversees services within a region as well as ensuring that each Direct Support Professional (DSP) delivers impactful services. The HCBS Supervisor’s job duty is to ensure that all services delivered are effective, meet DOH regulations, and collaborate with other providers on the treatment team. This is a full time, 40 hour/week, benefit eligible position.

    Responsibilities:

    + Direct supervision of Service providers

    + Review agency documentation completed by service providers, including billing documentation for compliance and quality.

    + Conducting initial and ongoing assessments in order to develop effective service plans for children.

    + Teaching/coaching direct service providers.

    + Collaboration and coordination of meetings with the treatment team

    + Oversight of financial viability within program.

    + Service provision with active clients as needed.

    + Traveling to multiple counties in order to meet with families and collaterals.

    + Completing all required documentation.

    Qualifications

    + Excellent communication skills, including: oral, listening, written, and inter-personal.

    + Ability to work independently and solve problems.

    + Self-confidence and an ability to work with a variety of people.

    + Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Outlook.

    + Exceptional customer service and collaboration skills.

    Required Education and Experience :

    + Bachelor’s degree in a related field

    + Minimum 2 years’ experience in working with individuals with developmental, medical, and/or mental health needs.

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications :

    + Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with reliable transportation.

    + Compliance with required background checks, including fingerprinting and drug testing.
