    CAH- Laboratory– Lab Manager-Full Time- Day Shift- 8a-4:30p- Req #8539

     

    Pay Range: $46.28-$61.33*+

     

    Responsible for planning, organizing and managing activities within the Laboratory under the direct professional supervision of the Laboratory Director. Interviews, directs, observes, supervises and evaluates personnel assigned to the Laboratory. Assists in the selection and orientation of new personnel and responsible for continuing education and staff development. Responsible for scheduling and daily assignment of personnel. Serves on committees and teams as assigned and attends meetings as required. Promotes the philosophy, mission and vision of the hospital. Demonstrates the ability to accept and implement change. These elements are not all inclusive.

    + Director of Laboratory Services

    EDUCATION:

    Required:

    + BS Degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or Microbiology plus six year's experience in a clinical laboratory, two of which must be under doctoral supervision

    OR

    + Bachelor's Degree with MT (ASCP) registered or eligible status plus six year's experience in a clinical laboratory, two of which must be under doctoral supervision

    LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

    Preferred:

    + Previous management experience

    *The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
