    SAIC is seeking a skilled Junior Automation Engineer to join our team at the PBGC. This role requires technical expertise in identity security and management of Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory domains, PowerShell scripting and script maintenance, and systems integration. The Junior Automation Engineer will be the escalation point for maintaining One Identity/Quest Active Roles integration with service offerings, troubleshoot complex issues, and work closely with the Modernization and Enhancement team to improve operating efficiencies.     Key Responsibilities:

    + **PowerShell Scripting:** Maintain, troubleshoot and develop complex scripts used for automation and orchestration with business systems for provisioning\deprovisioning, AD and ServiceNow item configuration as well as One Identity/Quest Active Roles group and user administration.

    + **System Documentation:** Develop and maintain system documentation, including work instructions, infrastructure diagrams, and process documents, to ensure clarity and consistency in operations.

    + **Support & Troubleshooting:** Provide technical support for Federal Leads and Operations Managers to ensure that systems integrations are performing as expected.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    + **Technical Skills:**

    o College Degree in Computer Science or related field. Plus 1 year experience.

    o Expertise in scripting and automation tools, specifically PowerShell.

    o Exposure to Microsoft Active Directory services (AD DS, AD FS, Group Policy, etc.).

    o Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID, Entra Connect, Azure Cloud Shell and IIS Site Management.

    o Experience with system documentation.

    Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

    + **Soft Skills:**

    o Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

    o Ability to communicate complex IT concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    o Strong team collaboration skills.

    Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
