Job: Cafeteria Worker

Hours: Part-Time, Variable Hours- Mon-Fri- EOW

Summary:

+ Position Summary:

+ Prepares, portions, and serves food and beverages required for cafeteria service and catered activities.

+ Collects money and maintains a pleasant environment in an area which is kept orderly, clean, and sanitary.

+ Qualified individuals must have the ability with or without reasonable accommodation to perform the following duties:

+ Prepares miscellaneous food and beverage items in the prescribed manner and stores them properly.

+ Portions food accurately and serves in an attractive manner.

+ The following duties are considered secondary to the primary duties listed above:

+ Maintains adequate supply of self-serve items properly displayed.

+ Records items and volumes provided and returned from, catered events.

+ Cashiers when functioning in the absence of a Cafeteria Worker II.

+ Makes sure that cafeteria and dining room equipment are orderly, clean, and sanitary

+ Perform other duties as requested.

Responsibilities:

+ Minimum Required Qualifications:

+ High School diploma or equivalent GED .

+ Adequate math skills for handling money.

+ One 1 year of experience in food service industry.

+ One 1 year of experience with cash registers

+ Completion of a three-month sanitation course.

Credentials:

Education or Equivalent Experience:

+ H.S. Diploma/GED

+ Vocational/Trade Diploma
