    Position Summary

    Establish and implement an effective Nuclear Quality Assurance and Compliance program for the NDE Division to maintain Conco Services standards of excellence throughout the Organization. This position will provide guidance to Human Resources and Senior Management on matters relating to reporting and compliance. Research, assess and implement all necessary actions to ensure the achievement of an effective compliance program, and function as an information source when special and critical compliance issues occur.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    • Develops, initiates, maintains, and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of the compliance program and its related activities to prevent violations of program.

    • Conduct internal audits and address non-conformities; prepare for and manage external audits (NIAC, NUPIC, service companies).

    • Direct the day-to-day operation of the Compliance/Quality Assurance programs by performing internal audits and addressing non-conformities from previous internal and external audits and responsible for preparing the organization for external audits relating to compliance of programs, policies & practices.

    • Collaborate with other departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution as well as control a system for uniform handling of any violations.

    • Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, develops and implements corrective action plans for problematic issues through evaluation, investigation and resolution.

    • Monitor the performance of the Compliance/Quality Assurance Programs and relates activities on a continuing basis, taking appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness.

    • Review external customer programs to assess company compliancy.

    • Assist the management team and provide Compliance/Quality Assurance support as necessary.

    • Maintain all Compliance and Quality Assurance files as well as administering a document control and configuration management system.

    • Adherent to Manager's and Employee's Responsibilities section set forth in Conco's Safety Policies & Procedure Manual.

    Qualifications

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task, prioritize and easily adapt to changing situations.

    + Ability to seek and maintain familiarity with federal and state regulations relating to compliance.

    + Must have complete knowledge of production scheduling and shop operations.

    + Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

    + Ability to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines and to work in a team environment.

    + Highly organized individual who is self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.

    + Computer literate in MS Office, NetSuite and CRM Software.

    + ASME NQA-1

    + 10-CFR-50 Appendix B

    + 10-CFR Part 21 Reporting of Defects and Noncompliance

    + Lead Auditor Qualified (negotiable if obtained within 90 days)

     

    Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards a plus

     

    + Oral Comprehension & Expression - The ability to communicate, listen and understand information and direction through spoken words and sentences;

    + Written Comprehension & Expression - The ability to read, write and understand information and ideas;

    + Speech Clarity - The ability to speak clearly so others can understand;

    + Reasoning - The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction and the ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

    + + Bachelor's degree preferred.

    + Must be authorized to work in the United States.

    + Equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
