    TIG Welder - Panels (1st Shift)

     

    As a Welder you will be responsible for completing proper measures, cuts and welds on components and assemblies.

     

    Currently there is an opening for a Welderin ourPanels department on 1stshift (6:30a - 2:30p. Monday - Friday).

     

    Panels Welder:Starting at $20.29/hr. on 1st shift.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Gather materials and supplies as needed.

    + Verify correct type, quality, color, and size of components.

    + Adjust gauges and settings on welder.

    + Measure, cut, sand, machine, and weld components per work order, blueprint, or instructions.

    + Maintain welder and related equipment in good working order.

    + Completes necessary paperwork.

    + Fill out DMN .

    + Will be operating a 4-point TIG welder.

    + Assist other departments as necessary.

    + Read work orders and follow instructions.

    + Frequently asks production area if they need help.

    + Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery.

    + Participate in improving our products, processes, equipment, and methods.

    + Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.

    + Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.

    + Continually looks for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.

    + Performs all reasonably related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or GED preferred.

    + Strong attention to detail

    + TIG welding basic skills required.

    + Aluminum TIG Welding skills preferred.

    + Must be able to create a bead and hold a stick.

    + Mechanically inclined

    + Ability to work overtime.

    Additional Requirements:

    + Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
