Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 380 employees.

Job Description

Monitoring and management of all testing equipment available on site to ensure a smooth testing process.

+ Procurement, incoming calibration/testing and issue of test equipment

+ Labeling of all test equipment with test equipment number & test sticker

+ Updating and maintaining the test equipment file (IT system)

+ (Commissioning of) maintenance, repair and calibration of test equipment

+ Inspection of rejected test equipment

+ Categorizing test and auxiliary equipment in accordance with applicable standards

+ Filing the results of measuring equipment capability analyses

+ Documenting the results of calibrations

+ Support in the implementation and evaluation of measurement system analyses

+ Support in the harmonization of measurement methods and test equipment

+ (externally with customers and internally with other plants)

+ Supervision of external service employees who carry out calibrations & service on test equipment

+ Communication with external suppliers (e.g. manufacturers of measuring equipment)

+ Compliance with standards and internal regulations (SOPs, WI...)

Qualifications

This function requires knowledge acquired during at least 2 years of technical vocational training and extended by at least 3 years of experience in the field of quality control.

This position requires advanced knowledge of metrology and quality management.
