Transdev is hiring a Maintenance Tech at its Burlington, NC facility.

Responsibilities:

+ Knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose and repair commercial vehicles and equipment.

+ Effectively work and communicate with employees and customers.

+ Complete daily safety inspections and reworks while maintaining production standards.

+ Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including the repair of brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission and other repairs.

+ Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately.

+ Maintain records of all maintenance work completed including parts and supplies used.

+ Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.

+ Other duties as required

Requirements:

+ 21 years or older

+ 0 - 1 years of diesel or electric repair employment experience or combination of education & experience.

+ Valid Commercial Driving License Class B with passenger and airbrake endorsements

+ ASE certifications preferred. Must participate in company ASE certification program (company training, and testing)

+ Mechanic’s tool set

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug test.
