    Job Summary：

    This role supports Helmer Scientific, part of Trane Technologies Life Sciences Portfolio. Helmer Scientific designs, integrates, manufactures, markets, and distributes specialized medical and laboratory equipment to clinical and life science customers in over 125 countries, as well as provide after-market service and support.This role has been designated by the company as Safety Sensitive

    Responsibilities:

    The Materials Pick & Pack:

    + Will receive inventory and ship materials based on Helmer and Customer need.

    Qualifications:

    Relative Work Experience: Prefer 1-3 years related work experience (pick and pack) including fork lift experience. Driver’s license required.

     

    Education: High school diploma or GED required.

     

    Certifications / Licenses: None required.

     

    Computer Systems / Software: Strong computer skills required with knowledge of Outlook, Word and excel; Fourthshift, MRP, ERP preferred

     

    Specialized Training: Must take Helmer Fork lift training. Packaging methods required

    Key Competencies:

    + Must be willing and able to drive a fork lift.

    + Ability to multi task in fast paced environment (includes checking email while printing labels

    + Willing to work as a team and help team members and communicate effectively

    + Demonstrates ability to make timely and appropriate decisions based on standards

    + Ability to complete own work with little to no supervision

    + Capability to follow established procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data; concentrate on routine work details amid periodic interruptions.

    + Is open to the ideas, diverse views and opinions of others; offers opinions constructively; offers assistance when needed.

    + Ability to lift 40 pounds repeatedly on own.

     

    Base compensation $18.50/HR
