Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Print Services Lead to oversee daily operations within our high-speed digital print and reprographics center. This role is responsible for supervising printing operations, ensuring high-quality production standards, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a background in both conventional and digital print environments.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Supervise all phases of digital network printing and reprographics operations.
+ Operate and maintain color and black-and-white digital print equipment and finishing machines.
+ Monitor production to ensure quality and timeliness, adjusting schedules and resources as needed.
+ Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring satisfaction and contract compliance.
+ Maintain accurate daily logs and records according to company procedures.
+ Coordinate workflow and prioritize job orders effectively.
+ Utilize a range of software applications including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
+ Contract and manage external vendors when necessary to meet production needs.
+ Uphold safety and quality standards in all areas of operation.
+ Provide feedback and recommendations on employee and client-related matters.
+ Train and supervise staff, serving as acting supervisor when a manager is not present.
Qualifications:
+ Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and 2-4 years of related experience.
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in reprographics center operations.
+ Strong background in both conventional and digital printing, including estimating and production.
+ Advanced proficiency in digital print systems and color equipment.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe, and general office technologies.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Typing speed of at least 50 wpm.
+ Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
+ Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
+ Must have good color vision and attention to detail.
