    Description

    Job Functions:

    + Electro-mechanical assembly or sub-assembly of units that are moderately complex, requiring adjusting, fitting and aligning to ordinary tolerances

    + Perform fabrication, assembly, installation and processing of electrical parts, material, hardware, and components into sub-assemblies and completed assemblies

    + Assemble electrical and electro-mechanical equipment, wiring, hardware, parts, etc., on all types of assemblies

    + Determine wire routing and assembly sequence on parts, that are similar in construction and design to previously fabricated units

    + Perform all basic tasks required, including: soldering, lugging, wire harness assembly, component bonding, etc.

    + Operate tools and equipment such as wire strippers, crimpers, solder iron, wire identification and associated tools

    + Work from blueprints, wiring schematics, technical manuals, written and verbal instructions and standard assembly procedures

    + Perform continuity checks, bonding tests and other similar type testing

    + Clean up work areas, tools, and equipment

    + Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit and Harlow Aerostructures LLC

    Position Requirements

    Skills Required:

    + Ability to read Blue Prints, Technical Manuals, and Wiring Schematics

    + Good Hand-Eye Coordination

    + Ability to work with standard hand tools

    + Knowledge in J-STD, Soldering, Wire Crimping and Pinning

    + Have good visual, including close vision, depth perception and color perception

    + Excellent manual dexterity to manipulate and move parts and hand tools needed for performing the job

    + Ability to read and write in English

    + Able to safely push, pull, lift, stack and carry materials weighing up to 35 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally

    + Requires standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, squatting, walking, reaching and grabbing constantly.

    + Team player who can handle working under pressure in a fast-paced environment

    Education and Experience:

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + Experience in manufacturing assembly related work.

    + Experience in electronics and electro-mechanical assemblies, preferred

    + Must pass yearly Vision Test

    + Must pass DOT Pre-Employment and Random Drug/Alcohol tests
