**Overview of the Position Responsibilities** : The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the success of all residential field sales including but not limited to direct sales, communities/MDU, contractors, retail/tech hubs, and all employees in their given market across all Bluepeak sales channels. What You Will Do:
+ Manage employee performance; counsel and advise employees to ensure compatibility, maximum effectiveness, and continued growth on a consistent basis. Address personnel issues/performance issues in accordance with Bluepeak policy.
+ Ensure the competence and continuity of qualified employees through optimum selection, training and development, performance, and motivation techniques. Oversee the recruiting, hiring, and evaluating of new hires to ensure that the appropriate level of support is available and maintained.
+ Develop and implement appropriate methods, practices, policies, procedures, and processes whilst keeping employees informed of changes. May include preparation of administrative and statistical reports.
+ Review and work within budgets, making recommendations for changes when necessary. Make informed decisions and choices based upon priority, business necessity, and bottom-line impact.
+ Work with customers, internal or external, to resolve escalated issues regarding both quality of service and employee conduct. Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues.
+ Ensure that work/escalated issues are addressed and completed in a timely manner and that delays/revised time frames are communicated to affected parties.
+ Act as a Subject Matter Expert or department/functional lead on projects with cross-functional/departmental impact.
+ Track and report daily performance, incentive results, and commissions.
+ Drive local results through community engagement in partnership with marketing and government affairs.
+ Work closely with local construction and technical operations to ensure timely installations.
+ Be an expert on Bluepeak services and product offerings to properly recommend the best solution for the customer.
+ Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Bluepeak products and services in the marketplace.
+ >60% of time spent working along frontline sales teams.
+ >50% of travel required.
+ Door to door sales (D2D)
+ All other related duties and projects as assigned.
What You Will Need:
+ Bachelor’s Degree or related equivalent experience required.
+ 4+ years of managerial experience is required.
+ Experience in telecommunications industry preferred.
+ MS Office Suite: Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Access, and OneNote.
+ Software: ICOMS, Salesforce, Peakview, Ticketview.
+ Experience with building and developing teams, measuring performance, and driving employee engagement.
+ Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, including the ability to articulate ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
+ Adept at identifying potential project roadblocks and developing mitigation strategies.
+ Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.
+ Effective time management with the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
+ Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
+ Ability to maintain professionalism in changing and/or challenging situations.
+ Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
+ Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
+ Regularly required to talk and hear.
+ Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull and walk.
+ Required to use hands, handle objects and paperwork.
+ Required to use close vision and be able to focus.
+ Required to refrain from personal use of technology during working hours.
+ Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
+ Required to lift up to 30lbs at a given time.
