    About the Job:

    + Responsible for providing care which includes assessment, treatment, control diagnostic evaluation of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.

    + Consults with physicians Provides consultation, instruction and/or technical direction of medical , nursing and other staff members.

    Requirements:

    + Must possess a current New Mexico Respiratory Therapist License.

    + Desirable characteristics include two years of experience in hospital or medically related environment.

    + RRT Certification required.

    + BLS required.

    + ACLS required.

    + PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

    + NRP must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
