Pay Rate:

_The pay rate for this job is $15 - $15 / hour*_

What you'll be doing as a Trash Collector:

+ Ride on the back of a garbage collection truck, collecting solid Trash on a designated route.

+ Direct the driver when pulling out into traffic and backing up, and guide incoming vehicles to the dumping area at solid Trash disposal facilities

+ Have knowledge of standardized work routines for manual tasks and the operation of collection vehicles in solid Trash operations

+ Check the operating and safety conditions of vehicles, perform minor servicing, and report needed repairs or maintenance

+ Assist the driver with various tasks during Trash runs and be able to lift 100+ lbs many times throughout the day

+ Be able to work in all weather conditions

Shift Timings: All Available

Job requirements:

+ Must be 18 or older Ability to lift 50lbs or more continuously during route

+ Able to work in inclement weather

+ Physically demanding work

+ Knowledge of work routines and procedures in collecting solid Trash materials for disposal, reuse, and recycling

+ Ability to carry, reach, bend, push, pull, and climb during route

+ Background check and drug screening required
