    Leidos’ Defense Systems RF Systems UAS Portfolio is seeking a **UAS SW Test** **Engineer** to join our team supporting Army UAS’ interoperability and software test. Our group has supported the interoperability testing, and technology evaluation and insertion to emerging UAS technologies for the Army’s UAS systems, as well as Joint service platforms.

    The ideal candidate should possess familiarity with Azure DevOps, specifically CI/CD pipelines, and will have supported the establishment of automated software testing, ranging from the writing of test cases to the automation of software testing using tools like Pytest for the verification of requirements. GUI testing is a plus, using tools such as Selenium.

    Primary Responsibilities.

     

    + Collaborate with UAS groups in the integration and test of UAS systems per established requirements.

    + Support test planning, test design and automation activities.

    + Support command and control (C2) thread testing for UAS systems.

     

    Basic Qualifications.

     

    + BS in computer science, computer engineering or a related STEM field from an accredited institution with 4-8 years of applicable experience or Masters and 2-4 of relevant years of experience. In lieu of degree 10 years of recent relevant experience.

    + Understanding of DevOps environments and test tools therein

    + Understanding of SW development and test tools to support test and automation of test

    + Understanding of basic UAS operations.

    + Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

    + Must be a resident of Huntsville, AL or willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.

     

    Preferred Qualifications.

     

    + Direct support of UAS system testing.

    + Familiarity with Linux SW development.

    + Software development of specialized software test tools

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
