**General program information and/or position overview.** _As a Production Control Lead, you are a critical link between planning and manufacturing, responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of production schedules and alignment with engineering and supply chain objectives. You play a key role in driving high-quality, on-time delivery by managing production flow processes across programs. Through close collaboration with the program, design team, procurement, and manufacturing teams, you help ensure the smooth introduction and movement of both new and existing products throughout the production lifecycle._

Primary Responsibilities.

+ _Independently Lead a team and manage employee performance and behaviors_

+ _Understand the programs resources and their skillsets to best utilize the team to achieve a high execution rate and to build a quality product_

+ _Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules based on the IMS and coordinate the flow of materials using Costpoint Manufacturing Orders_

+ _Create a Manufacturing Order structure that is based on the IMS to communicate percent complete to the customer on a weekly basis_

+ _Track issues and returns for nonconforming hardware and verify returned products will arrive back on site and not impact production_

+ _Schedule weekly and Monthly resource usage of personne_ _l_ _to execute production needs that align with the IMS_

+ _Track Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM) shortages and understand any impacts or adjustments to the production floor if needed_

+ _Participate and assist with ISO 9001 audits and 6S audits as necessary_

+ _Ensure customer_ _on time delivery and drive a zero-defect quality culture_

Basic Qualifications.

+ _Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology, or related field and 1 year of experience in manufacturing engineering or operations. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree_

+ _Knowledge of planning scheduling and activities_

+ _Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts_

+ _Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, both in writing and verbally, to a wide range of audiences_

+ _Ability to solve complex problems, often with limited information and guidance_

+ _Must be a US Citizen_

+ _The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance_

Preferred Qualifications.

+ _Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology, or related field and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree_

+ _Prior experience with the manufacturing of capital, security, aerospace, or maritime related products._

+ _2+ years’ experience leading manufacturing teams or projects_

+ _A background in traditional manufacturing process tools including Costpoint or other ERP applications, Windchill PLM application_ _s_ _, and Solumina MES applications_

+ _Possess one of the following certifications: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping_

+ _Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)_

+ _Understanding of ISO 9001_

_The successful applicant will work collaboratively with an outstanding group of engineers and technologists located in Long Beach MS. The successful applicant will become part of a world class team that is a recognized leader in maritime systems development and will support production of advanced electronic systems for the Department of Defense._

Pay Range:

Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
