The Senior Project Manager - Practice Operations will be responsible for leading and overseeing critical initiatives across the organization. In this key role, the project manager will manage a diverse portfolio of strategic projects including practice integration, provider onboarding, system implementation, new office startups, technology assessment, and process improvement initiatives.
This position requires an individual with exceptional project management skills, strategic planning expertise, strong analytical problem-solving abilities, and business acumen. A thorough understanding of healthcare operations and practices is essential.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead practice integration projects to ensure seamless incorporation of new medical practices
• Develop and execute comprehensive provider onboarding processes
• Manage implementation of new healthcare systems and technologies
• Coordinate all aspects of new office startups
• Evaluate new healthcare technologies for potential adoption
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
The ideal candidate will have:
+ Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
+ Experience in healthcare project management
+ Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and operations
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Create, manage, and execute project scope, schedule, resources, and change management initiatives.
+ Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource requirements, budgets, and risk management strategies.
+ Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives within established constraints.
+ Identify and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities proactively.
+ Communicate and document project plans, status updates, business goals, and governance plans to teams and stakeholders.
+ Lead practice integration projects, ensuring alignment with operational standards and workflows.
+ Develop and execute comprehensive onboarding processes for new healthcare providers.
+ Manage the implementation of new healthcare systems, including needs assessment, vendor selection, implementation planning, testing, training, and go-live support.
+ Coordinate all aspects of opening new office locations, including facility preparation, staffing, equipment procurement, and workflow development.
+ Evaluate new healthcare technologies for potential adoption, including conducting cost-benefit analyses and implementation feasibility studies.
+ Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and lead initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and enhance quality of care.
+ Ensure project deliverables are on time, high quality, and on budget.
+ Document project outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices for future reference.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Lead project teams with indirect supervisory responsibility for team members who report to other departments.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing conflicts and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree required in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare project management with demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-faceted healthcare projects. Experience with healthcare system implementations and practice operations. Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
