    Summary:

    As an Networking ASIC Engineer on the Infrastructure silicon team at Meta, you will be a key player in defining the networking architecture for the leading edge AI training and inference accelerators. Your primary focus will be on networking silicon architecture definition, modeling, performance analysis and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Evangelize your innovative networking architectural solutions with your peers and leadership, while mentoring members of the architecture team.Collaborate with cross functional teams working on data center networking architecture, network system design, micro-architecture, RTL design, Design Verification, Firmware/Software development, Pre-Post silicon validation and Program Management to deliver first pass functional silicon.

    Required Skills:

    ASIC Engineer, Networking Architecture Responsibilities:

    1. Network Interface Card ASIC architecture owner of integrated and discrete NICs

    2. Lead the architecture specification for NICs for infrastructure silicon products collaborating with cross-functional partners

    3. Provide technical leadership in functional model development to enable networking firmware creation

    4. Provide technical leadership in networking cycle approximate model development, performance analysis and correlation with design implementation

    5. Define ASIC networking roadmap for integration in future generations of infrastructure AI accelerators working with data center network planning teams

    6. Identify and collaborate on performance studies for networks in production topologies

    Minimum Qualifications:

    7. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

    8. 10+ years of experience ASIC development experience for enterprise, data-center or hyperscaler use cases

    9. Experience in delivering 10G, 100G, 100G+ line rate ethernet or converged ethernet NIC technologies and designs

    10. Experience developing acceleration hardware for TCP, UDP, IP, Infiniband, or RDMA technologies

    11. Experience working with large clusters of Ethernet or RoCEv2 or Infiniband or NVlink fabrics

    12. Experience with networking control plane and SW aspects - Ethernet or RDMA

    13. Complete knowledge of ASIC development on advanced process nodes using chiplet based solutions

    14. Experience working with MPI, Collectives and Communications technologies in hyperscale environment

    15. Experience and knowledge of data center networking solutions used in large scale clusters, including shallow buffered switches, TOR switches, routers, GPU and CPU servers/acceleration devices

    16. Experience in using performance models, performance analysis and performance correlation

    17. Experience in performance analysis and performance tuning of RoCE based technologies

    18. Experience with upcoming networking standards like UEC

    19. Experience in developing PCIe based NICs, Front-end and Back-end NICs

    Public Compensation:

    $212,000/year to $291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
