Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Transportation Division. We are looking for a full-time Class A CDL Union Truck Driver in the **Laurel, MT** area to deliver refined fuels and propane gas to CHS customer locations in a safe and efficient manner.

*This role is eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Compensation Data

Salary $25.85 per hour and $.5360 per mile.

This is a Union role wages are based on a collective bargaining agreement

Responsibilities

+ Deliver commodities to customer locations in a safe, punctual, and efficient manner.

+ Complete daily maintenance report and notify shop supervisor of any needed repairs.

+ Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections as well as loading and unloading products.

+ Follow all guidelines and regulations for hauling bulk liquid products, including but not limited to Petroleum, Propane, and Anhydrous Ammonia.

+ Maintain electronic logs and on-board computer with each shipment.

+ Utilize loading arms and hoses for loading and unloading

+ Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

+ Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands – may include weekends

Minimum Qualifications (required)

+ Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement

+ 2+ years of verifiable tractor trailer experience

+ High School diploma or GED

+ Must meet minimum age requirement

Additional Qualifications

+ Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. If required, selected candidates must pass pre-employment screenings to include all or a combination of drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMSCA Clearinghouse.

Physical Requirements

+ Ability to lift/carry up to 80 lbs., walk, stand, sit, bend, and kneel
