    + We are hiring immediately for a full time GROUNDS SHIFT SUPERVISOR (ATHELTICS) position.

    + Location: CCSD Grounds - 3999 Bridgeview Drive, North Charleston, SC 29405

    + Schedule: Full time; Monday - Friday, more details upon interview.

    + Requirement: Prior experience in landscape management and grounds supervisor with emphasis on horticulture is required.

    + Pay Range: $23.00 per hour to $25.00 per hour

    Job Summary

    Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained. W ork hands-on in leading, instructing, and educating various team members, emphasizing good horticulture practices, and provide quality landscape management

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.

    + Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.

    + Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.

    + Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.

    + May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.

    + Supervise a small team of field operators by making mow schedules and quality assurance checks on their responsibilities.

    + Makes argonomics applications when scheduled.

    + Incorporates cultural practices in a yearly calendar to enhance the viability and growth of turf.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.
