Trinity Health of New England is looking for an Assistant Internal Medicine Coordinator at Saint's Mary's Hospital. Come and join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. You would be responsible to assist the Residency Program Coordinator, Department Chairman and Associate Program Directors in the coordination of the residency training program. Assists in coordinating the daily office operations and educational activities of the Department of Internal Medicine Residency Training Program for all incoming and current residents. Responsible for faculty and resident support in all aspects of daily office operations. Coordinates the CME program for Saint Mary’s Hospital.
What You Will Do:
+ Assists Residency Coordinator, Department Chairman and Associate Program Director in coordinating daily activities of the residency program.
+ Assists residents in all aspects of their training as necessary – utilizing E-Value and Medres programs
+ Assists Residency Coordinator with yearly recruitment process via electronic residency application service. Maintains program and resident files for verification by accrediting agencies
+ Works with Medical Staff Coordinator in the credentialing of Medical Staff physicians Coordinates resident graduation dinner and other social events for the Department of Medicine.
+ Assists in organizing and coordination of medical programs for attending physicians for the Continuing Medical Education Section of Saint Mary’s under the direction of the CME Chairman
+ Screens calls and relays accurate messages; reviews all incoming mail and prepares and dispatches outgoing mail in accordance with department and hospital policy. C
+ Coordinates with in-house and external agencies to schedule meetings and conferences.
+ Attends national and state conferences as necessary.
+ Completes other related duties as requested.
Position Hours:
40 hours, Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Minimum Requirements:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree preferred.
+ Experience in hospital administration and Residency Training program for three years preferred.
+ Excellent administrative and organizational skills. Ability to resolve problems, concerns and complaints of patients, families, visitors, co-workers, medical professionals and the public while maintaining a calm, caring demeanor, following THOFNE Core Values. Technical expertise for troubleshooting: copy machine, fax, computer **.**
