We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Support Specialist to join our Technical Services/Manufacturing Sciences team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of supporting activities within our upstream, downstream, and analytical groups, contributing to large-scale commercial manufacturing.
Responsibilities Include:
+ Manage and organize laboratory and chemical inventory, including restocking and ordering supplies
+ Prepare buffers and cell culture media using aseptic technique; coordinate and schedule media requests
+ Perform equipment maintenance, calibration, sterilization, and maintain equipment databases
+ Assemble and disassemble bench-scale bioreactors and tubing systems
+ Conduct bioreactor sampling and routine testing using aseptic techniques
+ Perform small-scale sample purification using the ÄKTA chromatography system
+ Operate the autoclave and glassware washer
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date laboratory logbooks
+ Create and process internal sample requests
+ Review and cross-check data for accuracy
+ Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, engineering, or a related field
+ Minimum of 3 months of relevant laboratory experience
+ Prior experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is preferred
+ Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
+ Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
+ Capable of learning new techniques, multitasking, maintaining accurate records, and following established procedures and policies
+ Authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Details:
The position is full-time and permanent, Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates living near or in Branchburg, New Jersey are encouraged to apply.
