    Job Overview

     

    Komatsu is currently recruiting a Field Service Technician to work at our Fort Meade, FL location.

    Key Job Responsibilities

     

    + Maintenance, repair, service and inspection of the mining equipment

    + Dragline experience

    + Able to diagnose Mechanical, Hydraulic and electrical systems

    + Adjust, repair or replace all defective equipment parts, components or systems serviced at customer sites

    + Test the repaired equipment for proper performance

    + Equivalent to complete accredited apprenticeship in a recognized trade, craft or occupation; or equivalent to a one year technical college education.

    + Experience with motor controls, circuit’s installations, reading and understanding schematics, PLC’s, Digital Drives and general troubleshooting

    + Knowledge on how to align couples on motors, transfer cases and gearboxes

    + Must have experience with Dragline heavy equipment.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

    + Minimum of 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work.

    + Work in a diverse team environment
