    Responsibilities

    + Performing routine, urgent, and emergent patient requests.

    + Responsible in enforcing magnetic field safety for MRI patients, operator and visitors.

    + Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy of the head, thorax and abdomen, physiology, and MRI terminology, practices and procedures

    + Be familiar with specific MRI coding systems

    + Image processing, PACS QA

    Qualifications

    To thrive in this role you must have:

    + Associate’s Degree Preferred

    + Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT (R)(MR)

    + Certified by Texas Department of Health as Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist – MRT

    + BLS certification

    Overview

     

    MRI Technologist

     

    This is a RRN role.

     

    The rate is $42/hr.

     

    As an MRI Technologist you will utilize strong magnets and radio waves to create body images.

    Pay Range

    $32.08 - $46.51 /hour
