Job Description:

Your Role as a Hospice LVN

Branch: Terre Haute, IN | Schedule: 2-3 days a week, Part Time

As a Hospice LVN, you’ll provide compassionate care while meeting the unique needs of each patient. Your responsibilities include:

+ **Delivering Nursing Care** : Provide high-quality, hands-on nursing care to hospice patients, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times.

+ **Monitoring Patient Conditions** : Observe and report changes in patients’ health to the interdisciplinary care team.

+ **Collaborating with the Team** : Work closely with physicians, Registered Nurses, and other caregivers to implement individualized care plans.

+ **Educating Families** : Offer guidance and support to patients’ loved ones, ensuring they understand the care process and feel supported.

What We’re Looking For

To join our team, you’ll need:

+ **Licensure** : Current LVN license in good standing (as required by your state).

+ Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing. OR Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma.

+ **Experience** : At least 1 year of experience in acute care or a comparable setting.

+ **CPR Certification** : Valid certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

+ **Reliable Transportation** : Ability to travel to perform job duties.

+ **Exceptional Communication Skills** : Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

+ **Positive Attitude** : A dedication to providing compassionate care and exceeding expectations.

+ Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently, with the capability to lift 50-100 lbs.
