    Responsibilities

    Job Summary:

    Responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing quality patient care.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    + Collect appropriate data and perform testing to prepare patient for physician visit.

    + Maintain patient flow through the clinic.

    + Pull patient voicemails and process messages to the nurses a appropriate.

    + Complete patient refills as requested by both patient and pharmacy, ensuring appropriate labs are ordered as needed and protocol is followed.

    + Assist nurses with patient messages as necessary.

    + Assist nurses with reviewing physician blue book as necessary.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    + Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.

    License/Certification:

    + BLS Certification

    + AAMA-CMA; AMT-RMA; NCCT-NCMA; or NHA-CCMA

    Qualifications:

    + Medical office experience preferred.

    Pay Range

    $18.00 - $24.60 /hour
