    Make a Difference in Kids' Smiles! Join Our Dental Outreach Team!

     

    **Do you have a passion for oral health and education?** Mercy Medical Center is seeking a dynamic **Dental Services Specialist** to join our Healthy Kids Outreach Program (HKOP) and bring smiles to rural Douglas County students!

    In this rewarding role, you will:

    + **Deliver engaging, hands-on oral health education** to K-12 students using our interactive Dental Learning Lab.

    + **Coordinate community outreach events** to promote oral health awareness.

    + **Manage toothbrush kit distribution** and ensure students have the tools they need for healthy smiles.

    + **Collaborate with a dedicated dental team** and community partners to expand our reach.

    + **Contribute to the development of new programs** to bring dental education to more communities.

    Qualifications

    We're looking for someone with:

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + 1+ year of dental field and/or health education teaching experience (preferred).

    + Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

    + A valid Oregon Driver's License and a clean driving record.

    Roseburg is located on Interstate 5 in Southern Oregon's scenic Douglas County. The community is nestled in a lush forested region known as the 100 Valleys of the Umpqua.     Pay Range

    $20.62 - $28.35 /hour
