Research Analyst - Finance and Grants

This position will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficient processing of payroll and grant-related financial data within the core financial, grants and payroll systems, adhering to state and federal regulations as applicable in a school district environment.

Salary:

+ $55,000

Responsibilities:

+ Clean and republish data in payroll and grant systems.

+ Support projects for Reporting Manager.

+ Collaborate on business process interpretation and technology application.

+ Design and implement system procedures; troubleshoot and resolve issues.

+ Manage payroll data, reporting, and compliance.

+ Assist with grant financial management and reporting.

+ Reconcile payroll and grant-related data across systems.

Position Requirements/Formal Education & Certification:

+ Degree in relevant fields (computer science, engineering, data science, technology, finance, accounting, HR preferred).

Knowledge & Experience:

+ Data transformation and cleaning experience (financial, payroll preferred).

+ Ability to understand system documentation; technical writing skills.

+ Multi-tasking and adaptability.

+ Experience with financial and payroll systems. (PowerSchool a plus).

+ Payroll processing and grant financial management knowledge preferred.
