    The Pharmacy Fulfillment Coordinator is responsible for managing all components of pharmacy fulfillment activities. This position may also include scheduling, adjusting personnel to meet work volume needs and service levels, ensuring efficient processing from medication order receipt to medication manufacturing to packing/delivery

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Assemble patient’s electronic medical record and process orders in CPR + and One Care System if necessary.

    + Assist in the preparation and assembling of patient orders, gathering all necessary information necessary for the clinical pharmacist to process new orders in a timely manner.

    + Obtains renewal medical orders for Clinical Pharmacist prior to providing services.

    + Obtains and updates medication profiles.

    + Assesses referrals and prioritizes work appropriately to meet patient and company needs.

    + Document in patient records professionally and consistently

    + Communicates and coordinates referrals with outside sources, such as case managers, nursing agencies and Dr’s offices personnel

    + Assists the pharmacist when requested in all duties and functions according to standard practice of the profession, and states, and federal laws

    + Provides industry-best phone customer services to patients, medical provides, vendors, etc with complete follow-up as needed.

    + Assists with activities to ensure compliance with all State, The Joint Commission (TJC), and ACHC/PCAB records maintenance requirements.

    + Answers calls coming to the pharmacy from either outside callers or from employees within the company.

    + Maintains confidentiality of patient information according to The Joint Commission (TJC) and HIPPA standards. Respects and protects patient confidentiality.

    + Observes the organizations formal and informal polices for the handling of patient’s rights and confidentiality.

    + Carries out pharmacy operational policies and procedures in accordance with established policies, state and federal law and TJC policies and complies with applicable laws & rules

    + Participates in committee work to promote the Quality Improvement (QI) program.

    + Reports observed process deficiencies to the appropriate area supervisor

    + Participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs

    + Additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager or Pharmacist-In-Charge

    Regulatory Requirements

    + High School diploma or the equivalent.

    + Active state Pharmacy Technician license required as outlined by Florida guidelines (preferred)

    + One (1) year related pharmacy experience (preferred)

    + Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and

    + maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

    + Basic computer and automated pharmacy systems knowledge

    Physical Requirements:

    + Ability to work for an extended period while standing and being involved in physical activity.

    + Ability to do extensive bending, lifting, and standing on a regular basis.

    Language Skills:

    + Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

    + Additional languages preferred.

    Pay Range

     

    The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

     

    $39,000 - $49,400 per year
