    Position Summary:

    The Senior Compliance Specialist develops, documents and communicates compliance objectives for Human Resources policies, processes, and programs. S/He drives continuous improvement by developing and maintaining processes to ensure ongoing effective compliance measures. The incumbent reviews existing HR processes and systems, identifies risks, recommends remediation, and ensures resolution. The incumbent also provides training to relevant stakeholders.

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Develops, documents, and communicates compliance objectives for policies, processes and programs to include, but not limited to OFCCP, hotline reporting, I-9, E-Verify, UKG record integrity and access certification, acquisition integration, federal and state employment law posters, document retention, policy manual, Associate Handbook, EEO, and Affirmative Action planning.

    + Develops supporting materials and conducts training associated with compliance-related activities.

    + Identifies areas of vulnerability and risk within Human Resources policies, processes, and programs, responds to state and federal audit requests, responds to internal audit requests from clients, formulates mitigation strategies, and escalates critical issues to senior leadership.

    + Proposes and drafts, or revises as appropriate, policies and/or procedures to ensure conformance with applicable federal and state laws.

    + Manages the EthicsPoint hotline as the System Administrator.

    + Programs the system to route concerns and notifications.

    + Reviews concerns and ensure investigations are conducted thoroughly and that outcomes are well-documented.

    + Prepares monthly hotline reports using PowerBI for segment leadership.

    + Prepares quarterly hotline slides for the Nominating & Governance Committee.

    + Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelors - Human Resources Management, Business, Risk or related area

    • 7 – 10 years previous experience in a compliance role within a large, multi-state Human Resources function

    • Comprehensive understanding of federal and state employment laws.

    • Strong analytical skills to analyze and interpret data and evaluate trends

    • Demonstrated competency in process improvement tools and methodologies.

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills

    • Proven ability to build relationships and to foster collaboration and trust with business partners
