    Apple Valley Villa, part of a senior living community, is hiring a Full-Time Janitor/ Floor Care Specialist to join our team.  In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning carpet areas of 200+ apartments and common areas, along with some basic janitorial work. The ideal candidate is  someone who takes pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces and enjoys making a difference in the lives of seniors.

    Position Type: Full-Time

     

    Shift: Friday through Tuesday, 7am to 3:30pm

     

    Pay Range: $16 to $19 / hour depending on experience

     

    What does a Janitor/ Floor Care Specialist do?

     

    + Clean carpet of 200+ apartments and common areas.

    + Take out trash and recycling.

    + Complete basic cleaning/ maintenance.

    + Replace light bulbs in building fixtures.

    + Perform additional tasks as needed.

     

    What does a Janitor/ Floor Care Specialist require?

     

    + Previous carpet cleaning experience preferred, but not required.

    + Must be able to run carpet extractor and drive tractor.

    + Ability to use basic tools.

    + Must have patience and understanding to work with a diverse population of residents.
