Job Description

Day to day: A Fortune 50 client is looking to bring on two team members as AWS SRE Architects who will be hands on and helping in the design, management, and optimization of this clients cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of our services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, automate processes, and drive continuous improvements in our cloud environment. Your job responsibilities will include: designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, monitor and optimize performance, ensure high availability, automate processes, incident response, security and compliance, as well as capacity planning. You will be collaborating closely with development teams to ensure smoot deployment and operations of applications into the AWS cloud environment. The ideal candidate will be local to Hyderabad, India and willing to go onsite to the clients campus at least two days a week. The preferred shift is an 8 hour shift between 11:00 AM IST to 9:00 PM IST.

Skills and Requirements

8+ years overall IT industry experience

5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or DevOps role, with a focus on AWS cloud infrastructure

1+ years of experience in Lead or Architect level role

Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, and configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef

Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch

Any experience with chaos engineering tools such as Gremlin or Azure Chaos Studio

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS

Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and analytical approach

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator

Experience with managing relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB

Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPN, DNS, load balancing, and firewall configurations null
