Description
As the Senior Business Operations Manager for the Worldwide Field Enablement (WWFE) leadership, you will serve as a strategic thought partner and force multiplier, driving executive initiatives and ensuring operational excellence across the WWFE organization. This is a high-impact leadership role suited for a strategic operator with proven experience in driving transformation, streamlining decision-making, and incubating strategic initiatives to enable WWFE’s priorities and Field excellence.
Key job responsibilities
We're seeking an exceptional leader who combines strategic vision and flawless execution with executive presence, demonstrating strength in building relationships across all levels while applying sound judgment and change management skills to drive complex programs forward with discretion and deep organizational awareness. You will need to anticipate needs, remove barriers, and drive results across multiple stakeholder groups while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and judgment.
• Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to WWFE leadership
• Orchestrate and drive strategic initiatives across the organization
• Design and implement operating mechanisms to ensure effective decision-making and execution
• Manage stakeholder relationships across AWS and SMGS Ops leadership
• Prepare and review executive communications, presentations, and briefing materials
• Optimize executive time through effective calendar and priority management
• Ability to swiftly earn trust across the WWFE organization and SMGS Ops
• Lead special projects and handle sensitive matters requiring executive attention
• Represent WWFE Directors in key meetings and forums as needed
• Skilled at balancing strategic vision with operational excellence in a fast paced, high ambiguity environments

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 10+ years of professional experience with 5+ years in strategic or operational leadership roles
- Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives at scale
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in leading Executive Communications at large global organizations
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Experience in tech industry, particularly in cloud computing
- Previous senior executive experience at a large global organization
- Understanding of sales operations and enablement
- Experience with organizational transformation and change management a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
