• Data Analyst - Gas Transmission

    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring data analysts to join the Gas Transmission Projects team at one of the largest utility companies in the Northeast. This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity taking place on a hybrid basis in the Bronx.

     

    On a tight knit team, this person will be responsible for data mining, cleaning, and verification on previously completed projects to ensure accuracy. This person will be helping to build various dashboards in PowerBi and creating PowerApps to be used in the data mining process and in conjunction with the dashboards created.

     

    To be successful in this role, we are looking for an organized self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment. There is potential for conversion and/or extension at the end of this assignment.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 2+ years of experience as a data analyst performing data cleaning, verification, and mining

     

    - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or equivalent

     

    - Demonstrated experience creating PowerApps

     

    - Strong experience with data visualization tools: PowerBi or Tableau

     

    - Strong coding experience in Python or C+- Familiar with Excel, Microsoft Lists, and SQL -Experience in Google Suite and/or Dataverse null
